From Bryce National Park, we proceeded to Kodrachrome State Park. After a 3 miles hike, we decided to go on the dirt road for some adventures and scenic drive towards Zion National Park. In Zion, we attempted the Angel Landing Hike but was too scary to proceed. Nevertheless the views from the Scout Overlook were gorgeous (without having to risk our lives). Then in the afternoon, we tried the Emeril Pool Trail to see the waterfalls with sharp icicles. From Zion we head back to CA, made a slight detour to Death Valley, CA where the lowest point in the continental US (-282 ft).

I took my mom hiking at the canada hills (behind the grand old lady). The trails were very crude, technical and slippery. Fortunately ropes were provided at steep areas. At first we got lost, but was fortunately to met up with a few experienced hikers. Overall the hike was very difficult and streneous but my mom tackled it like a CHAMP. I am so proud of her.

Later, I went for another hike (from #1-5) at Canada Hill with Harry and his friends. This hike took us about an hour. It is a lot more streneous and steep in comparison to the previous hike (from #9-5). I was all drained and exhausted after station #2. Thanks to Harry and his buddy in leading the way

Steven visited me from Labuan for 2 days and hang out with his UTM colleagues (Ji Yi and Zairin currently pursuing her PhD career and working in the UK, respectively). Within these 2 days, we ate, and ate and play tennis, and continue eating. Among the Sarawak delicacies we had were Curry-mee, labi-labi, midin, curry fish head, nasi lemak, cendol and rojak.
